Choose the street for which you
want to obtain the Right-of-Way (ROW) information:
How to use this information:
The street right-of-way (ROW) information can be used to:
- Determine the location of the property line at the front of
your property facing the street.
- Locate
underground utilities in
the street if they are referenced from the property line.
The information provided includes the width of the street,
distance of the property line from the curb face, width of sidewalk, width of parkway (if
any), and distance (if any) from back edge of sidewalk to the front property line (see
typical street cross-section diagram and legend below).
This information is useful in calculating height and front
setback restrictions based on the
City's Zoning Ordinance.
Please note that side yard setback restrictions based on side yard property lines cannot
be determined from this information, but rather requires the services of a licensed
surveyor to locate the side yard property lines based on city survey records and existing
survey monuments.
