Santa Monica,
known for its vibrant culture scene, celebrates this
fall’s return of the legendary Cirque du Soleil in its 25th
anniversary year. Cirque founders
recognize this beach community as the vehicle that launched the then small
touring company a quarter century ago, into the world-renowned brand it is
today.

Set to the backdrop of the Pacific Ocean and world-famous Pier, the
Cirque du Soleil production KOOZA runs through December 20, 2009. KOOZA tells the story of The Innocent, a loner
who is searching for his place in the world. The
performance tent will be located at the 1550 lot, north of the Pier. For

Free Bike Valet at the Shows!
The Cirque will provide free Bike Parking for the first time
in their history, at all shows. Saturday and Sunday shows will feature
Bike Valet; all other shows will have Attended Bike Parking (park and
lock in attended area). Bike parking services are available from 1 hour
before the show starts until 30 minutes after the show ends. Bike parking
will be in a secure enclosure adjacent to the bike path and the Cirque du
Soleil’s Main entrance, and is offered through a collaboration between Cirque
du Soleil and the City’s Transportation Management Office. For more
