Monica, California – Join us for this image packed presentation by
special speaker Lee Feinberg, from NASA’s Goddard Space Flight
Center. This multi-media presentation will be Monday, October 5,
2009, at 7:00 p.m., in the Main Library’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Auditorium,
601 Santa Monica Blvd.
Lee Feinberg is the Optical Telescope
Element Manager of NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt
Maryland. He will talk about space telescopes of the past, present and
future – from the Hubble and other current observatories to the James Webb
Space Telescope (JWST) and other future concepts. Mr. Feinberg has worked on
servicing missions for the Hubble telescope and is currently managing the
development of the telescope for the JWST program. He is also involved in
the development of future concepts for space astronomy for NASA.
This program is
free and all ages are welcome. Space is limited and on a first arrival
basis. This is an event of: The Living Room …a place for adults.
